Blackburn Rovers striker Jason Roberts has signed a new three-year contract at Ewood Park.
The 30-year-old will stay at the club until at least 2011 and there is an option of a further year.
"I've been happy since I've been here for the majority of the time, so I'm pleased that it is now signed, sealed and delivered," said Roberts. "I'm very happy with the length of the deal and I hope to show the best of my abilities on the pitch."
He added: "I feel good, I feel strong, I feel like I've got a lot of experience and hopefully it will all come together now."
Roberts has scored twice in nine games for Blackburn this season under new manager Paul Ince.
He joined Rovers in July 2006 for £3m from Wigan after successful spells at Bristol Rovers and West Brom. (BBC Sports)

Keown rejects Pompey coaching job
Martin Keown has turned down the chance to work with former Arsenal team-mate Tony Adams as a coach at Portsmouth.
Adams, who succeeded Harry Redknapp as Pompey boss last month, was keen to add Keown, 42, to his backroom staff.
But he told BBC Radio Solent: "I think Martin is feeling that sitting on the sofa at Match of the Day and Football Focus is the way forward.
"It might not be right for here and now but in the future who knows. I might persuade him in the summer."
Adams has also ruled out the prospect of Dennis Bergkamp joining his coaching team at Fratton Park.
"I have not spoken to Dennis," Adams continued. "He has got a fantastic presence on the training pitch but I do not know what he is like as a coach because I have never seen him in action."
Adams is now widening his search for coaching staff.
"I need to put things place and talk to other people," he said. "Whoever it is doesn't have to have played alongside me at Arsenal - a young Jose Mourinho would do me fine.
"There are a lot of considerations when it comes to compiling a backroom staff. We have a lot of French players here so maybe the French route is an option," he added.

Ferguson charged over Hull clash
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has been charged with improper conduct by the Football Association after a dispute with referee Mike Dean.
The charge relates to Ferguson's behaviour towards Dean following United's 4-3 victory over Hull at Old Trafford on Saturday.
Ferguson marched on to the field immediately after the match to remonstrate with the official.
The Scot has been given until 19 November to respond.
Ferguson was thought to be upset that Dean, having already booked Michael Turner, did not send the Hull defender off when he up-ended Michael Carrick in the second half.
United were 4-1 up at the time and, to compound Ferguson's frustration, Dean then awarded Hull a penalty for Rio Ferdinand's innocuous-looking challenge on Bernard Mendy.
United's players became increasingly irritated and Wayne Rooney escaped a sending off when heavy challenges on George Boateng and Andy Dawson only resulted in one booking.
Last season Ferguson was involved in three high-profile incidents with referees, two of them after matches against Portsmouth.
At Fratton Park in August the 66-year-old was furious that Steve Bennett sent off Cristiano Ronaldo.
Then, after an FA Cup tie at Old Trafford in March, he labelled Martin Atkinson "a disgrace".
On that occasion an improper conduct charge was not proven.
He did, however, serve a two-match touchline ban and was handed a £5,000 fine for a rant at referee Mark Clattenburg at half-time - a game United went on to lose.

Saha happy he is finding his form
Striker Louis Saha believes he is beginning to show Everton signs of the form he is capable of.
The 30-year-old French international scored his first goal for Everton in their 1-0 win against Fulham at Goodison Park on Saturday.
"I'm doing a bit better, it's a bit slower then I expected but I'm still happy," Saha told BBC Radio Merseyside. "Things are going in the right direction and that is the main thing for me."
After signing for David Moyes' men on transfer deadline day in August in a two-year pay-as-you-play deal, Saha endured a spell on the sidelines with a calf problem.
His return to fitness in recent weeks has seen him feature in Everton's last five Premier League games, culminating with him scoring the winner against Fulham.
Saha was delighted his first Everton goal contributed to the Blues winning at home for the first time this season.
"It is a big boost for me and the team, my main concern is the team and the three points so it is a relief," said Saha.
Saha, who previously played for Fulham and Newcastle, believes he made the right choice in moving to Everton from Old Trafford. (BBC Sports)

Pulis hits back at Wenger claims
Stoke boss Tony Pulis has said Arsene Wenger is "trying to rewrite history" after the Arsenal boss accused his team of using overly aggressive tactics.
Wenger condemned Ryan Shawcross and Rory Delap after Emmanuel Adebayor and Theo Walcott were injured in Stoke's 2-1 win at the Britannia Stadium.
Pulis told the club's website: "On Saturday Mr Wenger confessed that Stoke deserved to win the game. He has now tried to re-write history, his comments certainly made me smile."
Both Adebayor and Walcott were stretchered off during Saturday's game after coming under challenges from Shawcross and Delap respectively.
Adebayor has subsequently been ruled out for three weeks in the injury sustained in Saturday's contest.
At a Champions League news conference on Tuesday, Wenger questioned: "Do you think Delap tried to play the ball when he tackled Walcott? Or that Shawcross tried to play the ball when he tackled Adebayor off the pitch?"
But Pulis has now leapt to the defence of his players.
"Rory is as honest and committed as they come," said Pulis. "He would never purposely go out to injure a fellow professional, don't forget not so long ago Rory was sitting in a hospital bed with a double fracture." (BBC Sports)

Ferdinand set for Tottenham role
Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp says he intends to bring former Spurs striker Les Ferdinand to the club as a coach.
Redknapp has already recruited former midfielder Tim Sherwood on to his staff on a part-time basis, and has revealed he now wants Ferdinand, 41, to come in.
"I'm going to speak to Les, I want to bring him in to do a bit of coaching and work with the strikers," he said. "I think he can be a big help to them."
Redknapp is building his backroom staff after taking over as boss 10 days ago.
He has overseen wins over Bolton and Liverpool and a dramatic draw with Arsenal in his short time in charge having succeeded Juande Ramos on 26 October.
But he still believes the likes of Darren Bent, Roman Pavlyuchenko and Frazier Campbell would benefit from working with Ferdinand
"I did it a few years ago at Portsmouth when I got (former Watford, AC Milan and England striker) Luther Blissett to work with Yakubu when he was going through a bit of a barren spell in his first season," said Redknapp. (BBC Sports)
